Welcome to another edition of "Faith Loves Food!"
(Okay, not really, but I do love me some food.)
I'm sure you've all heard of the classic, "If you've read ... Then you should read..." I actually really like to see what people recommend! I was going to bring y'all one of those posts but then I thought about food and, well, we're here haha.
How will this post go?
Well, I'll recommend you a book and then I'll also recommend you a food to eat while reading/discussing/thinking about said book. (The food will coordinate with the story.)
So without further ado let's discuss LE FOOD AND BOOKS.
First up on the list is, of course, Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda! This book is SUCH A GOOD BOOK. Seriously y'all I can't believe I waited until this year to read it.
*pushes oreos toward you*
Yes, my friends. The delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering November Cakes aren't just fictional!

I haven't made them yet but I'll have to soon! I'm not sure how long I can go without these GLORIOUS ANGELIC CAKES.
I can't say that I've personally had Dal before. However I can attest to the fact that Naan is absolutely AMAZING (much like TSTQ.)

Chocolate = AMAZING
Wintersong = AMAZING
Chocolate + Wintersong = EVERYTHING
I read the glorious Wintersong back in December and I really really enjoyed it! The story was darkly seductive and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get over the Goblin King....
If you've read the book then you'll (maybe?) remember that there's talk of a chocolate torte.

*All the heart eyes* am I right?!
You can find the recipe to make this deliciousness here!
...and If you haven't read Wintersong yet then get reading! Actually, first whip yourself up some chocolate torte and THEN get reading.
I know that wasn't too long of a list but I'll for sure make another list similar to this one a little later on. (After all you can never have too many books or too much CHOCOLATE.)
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!
